Eat in.
You’ve driven for hours, you’re tired, hungry and the last thing that you want to do after arriving is get back in the car and go looking for somewhere to eat.
You’re either travelling with friends or family, so why not eat like one.
Select from our continually changing menu below to fully enjoy the seasonal produce available from the central west.
Our meals are served in a family style, that is as one large and generous portion that the family can then share amongst themselves. It’s not possible for us to prepare smaller portions from separate options.
Here at Pitt and George we can help you relax by preparing you a delicious home cooked meal that is warming, hearty and customised for any dietary needs.
From classic like Beef Bourguignon to slow baked Greek lamb and vegetarian quiches, we use as much local and garden produce to create meals that fully satisfy.

SLOW ROASTED LEG OF LAMB - $35
This is our most popular dish by a long shot. A portion of lamb sized to meet the number staying for dinner cooked slowly in a sea of lemon juice, garlic, olive oil and herbs picked fresh from the garden. Served with whatever garden vegetables are available and rosemary and garlic potatoes.
PORK RAGU WITH HOMEMADE PASTA - $30
Nothing is more satisfying than a rich pork and tomato ragu slowly cooked all day long and served with fresh pasta made from our own chook’s eggs.
Served with a side salad and a small loaf of fresh bread.
CHICKEN WITH P&G LEMONS AND OLIVES - $30
Sitting on a bed of slowly cooked onions, spices, herbs and saffron this chicken dish is superb, Crispy skin, lots of flavoursome sauce, (made with our own stock) all served on a bed of pearl couscous and parsley. Served with lemon braised vegetables.
GARDEN SPANAKOPITA - $30
Spanakopita is something truly special when it comes from our own garden. Freshly picked silverbeet, still crisp from the soil, brings a deep, earthy sweetness that shop-bought greens rarely match. Tender spring onions add a gentle bite and natural fragrance, folding beautifully through the filling. Combined with crumbly feta and our own homemade ricotta – straight from the pot – the mixture turns luxuriously creamy while keeping a bright, fresh character. Wrapped in delicate, flaky filo and baked until golden, the pie is served with a classic Greek salad and crusty bread.
