Ideally situated only 20 minutes from Orange and 30 minutes from Bathurst, our bed and breakfast makes life easy for groups of gourmet and adventure travellers.
Take a leisurely stroll through our heritage listed main street, savour the flavours from one of the three cellar doors in the village and finish the day with dinner at Tonic or Tapas at the Slow Wine Co. After all that hard work relax in the comfort of your own wing of the house where you can finish that bottle of wine and plan the next day’s activities.
About the food
The Orange and Millthorpe district is renown as being one of the great food destinations and the Pitt and George Food Company is the perfect base from which to launch your culinary adventures. Not only are you surrounded by great eateries, but here at Pitt and George we also sell our homemade jams, relishes and sauces online as well as being able to provide our guests home cooked meals that take the stress out of travelling. You can also cook your own meals in your well equipped kitchen or on the large four-burner barbecue. Take a Tour
When you stay at our bed and breakfast you will have your own private wing to enjoy. One person or six, we only let the three rooms out to groups that book together. Your wing includes your own private combined lounge and dining room, kitchen, toilet and bathroom.
Breakfast
Every guest receives a loaf of our home made bread and a sample of one of our jams for breakfast. If the hens are obliging you can also cook yourself an egg or two in our self-contained kitchen.
